I took my 8 circle receiving array down two weeks ago before it got
blown up by the summer lightning. It has been blown up 3 times in the
past three summers despite fitting coaxial relays to protect the antenna
inputs. So now I have learnt to bring the amplifier boxes inside before
the lightnin

mornings now.
I’ll be moving to 80 m over winter, but checking on 160 m from time to time to
time.

say, very few stations coming on the band.
A lot of NA stations say it's now too noisy over there . . . or that their
Antennas were in Farmer's fields, so they've had to take them down . . . but

Hey topbanders, this morning the band in DL was very quiet again, first call
was K2UA, following from VA1RST, K1KI, W1NT, N1PGA,WA8OLN, K3UL. Than a
surprise, D2EB called me with a good 539 signal on my short HIZ RX antenna. I
am every morning from 01:45z to 03:15z mostly on 1833khz. Please giv
