much of a contester. I only supply QSOs to people who are serious about
it. I would consider using remote receivers (I already listen to some of
them - WebSDR) but not for a contest or something like DXCC.

In my case, I don't really get going on 160M until the beginning of
November. My October is usually getting ready for CQ WW SSB and then Nov -
Feb is basically CW season for me which includes getting on 160M DXing.

For many of us in NA we cannot put out any receive antennas until after the
corn and beans have all been harvested which sometimes can be as late as mid
November. Without those RX antennas DXing on 160 is useless. I'm still
waiting for the farmer to take the corn down here. 73, gary
