Out of curiosity, would it be possible to map a drive on the Touch so
that it's internal SBS can access a NAS drive, or can it only use USB?

I'm pretty sure this can be done. You would need to ssh in to the SBT
and
It would be very nice if one of those HRT Music streamers could be used
on the usb port of a touch.
Even nicer if you could use a usb hub and have a HDD and an usb dac
attached.

I became interested in adapting the Touch for car use after looking at
what's currently available in the double din mobile sound market. The
biggest turn off for me has been the available GUIs, many have a 7
display, but still haven't figured out how to display cover art and
album/artist info
