They don't seem to position the Olive 2 as a competitor to the
SqueezeBox, but just as an extension to the Olive 4.
If they did they could potentially sell a lot more units...
It seems to be a really well made unit but they need to give more
details.

As I mentioned in the other thread on this topic, Engadget is reporting
that Logitech is now saying February 2010 for a release date. That's
not definative (obviously) but probably carries a bit more weight that
our guesses at when it will be released.

Apgrade only output stage, and power supply.
The vdac is a hiend product, not look at the price.
To buy something like that should be paid also on the use x40.
