I did the same. Now I'd like to know what can we use the USB port and
SD Card slot for? Any practical ideas?

Well I ordered a Radio but it is also out of stock. Checked a few other
sites and those are also out of stock. I guess the coming holiday
season is good business for Logitech and Squeezebox.

You can always use those ports for pictures and slide shows. Touch's
server need not be running for such Image Viewer tasks.

Yup. In fact, your SBS server is now setup. Just connect Touch to your
network, point Touch to your server, you are done. Assuming you plan on
using SBS server on your computer.
Other option is to just plug the USB drive into the Touch, no computer
needed, but

Like mysqueezebox.com, pretend they don't exist and you'll be much
better off.

Oh, they'll breed, trust me. You can't have just one.
And if you don't keep adding more then a big ugly guy wearing a SONOS
t-shirt will show up at your door and smash your hi-fi gear. ;)
On the actual Touch you would simply touch hold the album, a pop up

I understand where you chaps are coming from.
I haven't experienced that many issues with TinySBS, but also feel that
my Touch sounds better when it's got an external server providing the
data, so have also gone back to that method.
Whilst it is dissapointing that TinySBS is a bit second rate,
Ok, how can I check via remote SSH the log-script?
This connection should work, while I could find the reason of any
mulfanction.
Further, how can I make a software-reset through this connection if
possible?
(Remember- the reset button will not work)
I opened the SBT and broke in my hurry a

The Logitech site is annoying, though... and pretty poor for ordering.

I was referred here by someone on the logitech boards and was wondering
if you could help me.
I am running a Squeezebox system (Touch, Radio, Boom) in my flat. The

on it. Trouble is, it keeps failing.

Hmmm, that brings up the thought of a real live mechanical VU meter box
that plugs into the Touch's USB port. It would take something like a
FTDI chip or USB AVR driving a serial DAC chip and a pair of good old
mechanical meters.

I'm using a Toshiba 640GB 2.5 external hard drive, powered by the Touch

the drive itself has not given me any trouble. Power saving even seems
to works properly. The black model visually goes very well

Problem #1: At least in Canada, the site STILL says In stock for
Touch when you add it to your cart, even though it's not and is
backordered.
Problem #2: If I view my order through the wrong link,
