I have my music folder structured like this, 2 main folders, FLAC and
MP3:
FLAC\
Classical\

2.
3.
Greatest Hits\

Or, make one of the devices (PC or Touch) wireless, running ethernet to
the device more easily accessible via ethernet.
For dedicated wired PC to Touch you can use ICS (Internet Connection
Sharing) which essentially turns your PC's network card into a router.

production about 5-6 years ago. It's never been networked and I
disabled as many unnecessary services on it as possible to make it run
better while recording or playing back multiple large audio files and
running multiple plug-ins, e

Problem Solved.
It occured to be related to my Svaesoft Alchemy v1.0 router software on
my Linksys WRT54Gv2.
I first tried to do some extra portforwarding and hassling with
iptables but nothing worked. Then I flashed the damn thing with Tomato
v1.28 and the thing wasn't damned anymore!
Thanx e
You could also try using FAT32 instead of NTFS, FAT seems to be more
Touch friendly.
Tags, file consistency, and file organization are important for any
