Went back to version 7.5.3 and all is good.
I won't update until I hear that latest version doesn't kill the album
art again. Very frustrating.

The Infocast 3.5 could be used to stream music and be controlled by the
Squeezebox Server, almost having an extra Squeezebox for 49$.
An Infocast apps allow the Infocast 8 inch to show Artwork and Metadata

I'm just overdoing stuff sometimes I always used ssh to my
touch/controlle/radio due to not wanting to turn off dhcp i found that
simple to do. it is stupid that you have to turn off dhcp to get Touch
to give you posibilities to use static ip, it just p

Yes USB has power issues far to many USB powered drives brake the specs
or act up in other ways
Using the Touch as server has other limits to as no web interface or
plugins or transcoding.
Some reading for you , note that some details may have changed, in true
squeezebox spirit the documentation
it is alway possible,but there maybe be no easy graphical tool to use .
You may have to learn to setup static ip on both devices , if you now
SSH your good to go , most NAS boxes and Touch uses a simple Linux so
the tools is the same as any linux without graphical interface .

I have a 1Tb Music in FLAC files on the NAS and i would like to use it
as simple Musicnetwork for the Squezzbox. That means that the NAS is
not connected to my usual Network (because it is to far away from my
musicroom). So i am looking to find a solution for that issue. I have

Possible but not easy and you'll need some Linux skills. Explain what
you are trying to achieve. You can have a network without an Internet
connection if that is your issue.

Hi, Ive got a spare power adaptor that i want to use with the touch. its
rated at 5v 3A. Ive measured the output of this adaptor with a
multimeter and its approx 5.10V to 5.20. The touch powers up and works
fine. all i want to know is if this is ok to use? i dont want to stress

I got a Synology DS411Slim (squezzapp installed) witch an i want to
connect directly to Squezzbox without going by a Network. Is this
possible? Somebody wrote that with a Netgear it seems to be possible? I
tried but the touch could not recognize the NAS!!!
