Get the free mp3tag if you need to tag.

There is a reason .
You are using the browse "music folder" function it does exactly that
:)
Instead use the album or artist or genre etc menus not the "music
folder" menu.
These menus use the tags in the files and present them acordingly .

definitely not on shuffle.
as i said, i have been thru all the settings a dozen times, and cannot
find any reason why SB would play the tracks on an album
alphabetically.
"most" albums that i listen to are "albums".
The artist arranged the tracks in a specific order.
Some tracks "blend" into the
Sounds like you have it on shuffle play?

How do i get my SBT ( or SBB ) to play the selected album in the

The only thing I can think of is to load some older firmware on the
Touch by putting it on an SD card (or USB drive). I've never tried it,
but I think it's supposed to work.
Here are firmware downloads:

Yes, the Touch is hooked up to my main rig so everything is usually done
with the remote. I thought it might be my Logitech Harmony remote but I
don't recall changing any settings. It's like some stupid troll
descended in the night and screwed it up. I'm reluctant to upgrade
anything now. I think
Anyone else try them with this setup ?
I'm currently running and I've been told they won't make a difference
in this combination but I'm sure they do.
Can somebody else with configuration please try it.
