I also notice some clicks when playing files, that occurs about once
every 5 or 10 minutes. Very annoying. Every time I try to reproduce the
noise by listening back on the track and the click is no longer there
(sometimes the click is reproducible, meaning it is not SBT's fault).

what type of files are you playing? FLAC, ALAC, m4a, mp3, etc. And are
any 24/96 or 24/192?
I play 16/44 FLAC files, on a SD Card plugged in SBT (local server).

Hmmm, that's good as those should be handled natively by the TOUCH with
no transcoding, etc. needed. Sorry, but I don't have any suggestions on
solving problem (I don't use the SD or USB function in Touch).
With stock SBT I experienced some very short clicks, sounding like
sounds you got with vinyl discs or like the sound you get from SBT when
manually skipping tracks or going back to the beginning of a track. This
sounds make me think to a very small stall in data reading (which is
quite logical).

It seems I solved most (if not all) of this problem by installing EDO
utility, and setting buffer to large.
that's good to hear. But it shouldn't be at all necessary in order to
play 16/44.1 FLAC files on a TOUCH. Something odd is happening. Perhaps
because of TinyLMS.

Hi all, I'm a rookie
The squeezebox is really good, except the full scan each time I turn off
my USB hard disk
I have approx 13000 songs in FLAC and it take 10mn to scan
Is there any add on or update to avoid this full scan?
Thanks in advance
Have doe Ethernet connection but whenever ethervpluggedin I get major
noise from cable, think is because near speaker, picks up interference

There's no Logitech media center for android, so you cant use a tablet
as a server, but you can use the Logitech or other android controller
app from the Google play store. This reply is from a tablet that runs
the Logitech app with my Touch (and my SB3's). You will still run Lms on
