Try to do a Xilinx reset (it resets that audio chip ) squeezeboxes need
this now and then for unknown reasons.

If you can browse by Artist on all other devices, but just not on the
Touch itself, then the problem isn't with the scan, but with the Touch.
First step is to reboot the Touch. Press and release the small button on
the back of the Touch and it will reboot. If that doesn't solve the
problem, then

UNfortunately yes to both questions. Also I think that since I can
browse Artist from any other device but the touch it must be something
related to it? Should I try a TOuch reset (or clean cache). Not

EVerything ahs been working fine for ages (SB Touch, + LMS on a WIndows
7 server), but after the last rescanning I can't browse by artist
anymore. The circle keeps spinning forever.
EVerything else is fine. I can browse by albums, genre, etc. ANd I can
even browse by artist in the web interface

Really strange problem am running my classic through an Arcam Rdac and
everthing has been working fine but now there does not seem to be any
output from either the optical or coaxial i have tried a usb direct from
a laptop and dac works fine. So the question is what do i do now the
dispay and
Firewall on the machine thet runs LMS ?
