It's bizarre, LMS seems so have a mind of its own. If I allocate one
particular harddrive or folder within that hd to the music folder, LMS
scans ALL music files on all harddrives connected to my pc, no matter
what. The only way not to scan them is to physically remove them. And,

I agree, but even in accessing music folder you should be able to see
all the album subfolders. I just checked and I have some artists with 25
album subfolders and I can see

Yes, absolutely :)
Bear in mind that if your music library is on 5 separate drives,
whenever you start LMS, all 5 drives need to be already mounted, or LMS
will rescan. Perhaps one of the 5 has started playing up, and you ar

Yes, when scanning one drive it finishes. But when I add other drives
one by one, eventually it doesn't stop scanning anymore.

Hi, I'm new here. My squeezebox worked fine until about a week ago.
Every new album was scanned in my collection and everything went ok. My
collection contains about 10,000 albums on 5 separate harddrives.
Squeezebox server is now continually scanning my collection. It just
