I unchecked some plugins on the Touch. Specifically the ones that were for different models (Digital Inputs, Line In, Line Out, Slim Tris), the UPnP/DLNA Media Interface, and the iTunes integration. The display on the BK now identifies the files as 96kHz, but still no sound. Taking a cue from

Test the IR point the remote at a phone camera and push some buttons on the remote you should see the ir-diode flash ? ( many digital cameras detect near infra-red ) . Many SB3/2 remotes are saved by resolder the ir diode it probably gts loose by multiple drops to the floor . Ohterwise scavange
