I unchecked some plugins on the Touch. Specifically the ones that were
for different models (Digital Inputs, Line In, Line Out, Slim Tris), the
UPnP/DLNA Media Interface, and the iTunes integration. The display on
the BK now identifies the files as 96kHz, but still no sound. Taking a
cue from
Found my SB Touch remote to be unresponsive. No signs of physical
damage and new batteries doesn't revive it. My SB2 remote works to
control the touch, so it appears the remote is dead. I'd like to open
it up to see if it's an obvious fix, but can't figure out how to open it

Test the IR point the remote at a phone camera and push some buttons on
the remote you should see the ir-diode flash ? ( many digital cameras
detect near infra-red ) .
Many SB3/2 remotes are saved by resolder the ir diode it probably gts
loose by multiple drops to the floor .
