Touch is running 7.7.3 and connected to the Internet and mySb account, which means it's running current sw versions... Admittedly the USB i attached is pretty loaded (I have a large library). LMS media server will just not run hosted on the Touch, it will crash regularly and seemingly never quite

I do not think there is anything definitive on this topic. There are just too many variables within any given library. I ran my Touch that way for about a year. My attached drive probably had in the neighborhood of 20K tracks at that point. Nothing but problems and any time the Touch was
