There was no uninstall/install just updates - to the app and iOS, which
is easily enough to send things awry!

iPeng usually needs to be re-registered whenever you uninstall and
re-install it because Apple doesn't allow the use of permanent IDs to
prevent tracking.

Yes, I have LMS and the Touch is also used to play music from the PC.
My guess is that both apps have been updated since I last used them and
needed to be connected to Mysqueezebox again (I just found out how to do
it on iPeng, too).

That's better, do you run a local LMS server at all ? Seems like you are
connecting directly to mysqueezebox.com this should also work fine .

OK, at least it's now asking for mysqueezebox login details.
I never had set up anything for the app so what gives? Nothing in
mysqueezebox either.

Gave the apps a long time to run. No good.
iPeng are in touch which is VERY good.
Orange Squeeze crashed the phone so it appears to be non supported. It
didn't see anything. But - it's running differently now - let me check.

Did you noticed that all of the remote "Apps" needs to fetch / *update*
the cache from the Server before they can interact with your lms?

Although the Squeezebox is used every day, it's been a long time since I
