So my Squeezebox Touch does not seem to work with this version. The server
will not start.
I found this reference on forums.slimdevices.com
Sometimes there are issues with LMS on recent OSX versions and
permissions on the logs folder. Please try the following two commands
from the terminal:
Is this a good fix? Or is there another?

So I left the Oppo on all night and power off the touch. Still had to
reselect digital output Oppo and reboot for it to work. Anybody have
ideas?

Having never used EDO, or even a USB DAC on the Touch, I'm not familiar
with the way the DAC is selected. Does it show up as a list of possible
output devices, e.g.:

front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0
surround21:CARD=DAC,DEV=0
surround40:CARD=DAC,DEV
Settings > Advanced > Digital Output > Select Audio Output > Click on
the info stream, does it confirm the dac is running
Have you tried the above and selected Digital only for the audio output
and used a coax ro toslink spdif connection into the dac.
How is the dac powered ?
Try connecting
Just tried this with an IfI Nano usb dac.
Connected it up and selected it as output, sconfirmed it running from
the info stream.
Switched the dac off.
Waited a little while and on the SBT went to Settings > advanced >
select audio output > digital output >
two outputs listed

No I haven't. I was experiencing this problem when I was running LMS as
well.
I have not used this method of playback for several years.
I seem to remember that if I disconnected the dac, then I would have to
reboot on reconnection of the dac. But I know that Triode intended to
make it hot-plugable.

Been running EDO on my Touch via the coax output into my external DAC
for what seems like forever.
Hook the Touch up with coax into the Oppo.
You can turn both off if you want, and things will work fine when you
turn the 2 devices on.
I did look at the Oppo manual, and it does not accept 24/192

Just installed 7.9.2 Update today and at the Right bottom of my Web
control panel it it informs a new version 7.9.3
is available. Is this a small update ..? and When I Go into git hub, How
do I download it ..? I assume its a genuine upgrade.

Switchthe dac back on and it registered correctly.
