Actually have a read of this thread. Seems like a power pack replacement

You might find that it is not the remote but the SBT. I have the same
issue with my SBT it will not respond to the SB remote. The remote will
work my Radio and SB3.

Oh, one more thing: after you've added your own client ID you might need
to wait for another hour until it's being used due to some caching.

The red color to display that message at the top was chosen to catch
your attention. Quite obviously it failed its purpose. What other color
would have worked? :-)

Am using a Squeezebox Boom with LMS version 8 and Spotty version 4.4.5
on an Imac
Everything was working fine til a few days ago and now am getting this
message as per the screenshot attached
any thoughts anybody?

People will need some more information to provide the best help.
For example ... which operating system and version, anti-virus tools,
anything unusual about the network setup (e.g. multiple segments,
special DNS settings, PiHole)
The LMS logs probably show the same as you are seeing in the UI
And it STILL will not install!
