Are you saying that if you install 8.2 on a naked system, you have a
volume problem. But if you install some older version first, then update
to 8.2, you're good?

I have found a fix:
I installed the latest version LMS 8.2.0 on a new Win10 install. That's
where the problem lies!
I uninstalled 8.2.0 and installed LMS 7.7.3. The volume was now at the
