I can confirm that the Eximus DP1 is doing fine with the latest applet
and kernel. However, I still get occasional dropouts with 192KHz flac
coded files, decoding done by SBT. 96KHz files play fine.

Best installation process is to: reset the output device, update the
applet and then update the kernel. Then select your chosen output
device.
Triode, what exactly do you mean by reset the output device?

Kernel #5 and plugin 0.7 play fine with the Eximus DP1. Occasionally I
get dropouts for a couple of seconds but only with 192kHz files, though
the touch is connected to my NAS via ethernet. All other material plays
flawless.

Is someone here who tried the kernels provided by Triode with Eximus
DP1, or with any other USB Audio class 2 dac?

confident. I
think you would be the first person trialing it with a high speed
device.
Well its a pity that I don't have a dac with high speed USB port, but I
am interested in bying one - if it connects properly to the touch via
USB.

have no idea as I can't test, but I've included what looked to be the
relavent patches]
As with kernel #2, if you have an async usb 1 device then you will need
an external hub.
Very interested in test results.
Is it possible to install the new kernel over kernel #2?

Yes - just go to the Kernel Updater menu and select the new one.
The new kernel seems to work flawlessly with 8200CDQ up to 24/96.

, but it just won't play any music files. With the Touch beeing
in this state, the 8200CDQ does not show any connection via USB. Only
after the reboot it shows the bit depth and sample rate of the music
file to be played.

I use the Hama USB hub that you referred to earlier. It would be great
if Logitech would accept your changes for the standard firmware.
Thanks again for your effort.

without crackles and interrupts I had also to increase
the buffer to 20.000 (TT command tt -b 2). SQ is sweet.

I can happily confirm that Kernel #2 plays 24/96 connected to 8200CDQ
via USB 2.0 Hub without any clicks. Sound is very nice, at least as
good as via coax. Next I will try to install TT 3.0 additionally.
Triode, John, thank you very much for your effort,
Michael
