After a week or so with no further issues I had another static blast

I am afraid I use Linux not Mac. On my setup I would right click the
folder or file in question and select properties and then the
permissions tab. Hope that helps

always there that I use ocassionally -Info Browser the news feed. When I
go into Touch settings I get the message that several apps need to be
updated and I "Update All" and Info Browser returns to the Touch. On the

You could also program a Harmony 650 or other Harmony remote. The
software Logitech provides to program their remotes is pretty good and
they have the commands for Squeezeboxes ready to install

Are the RSS feeds still modifiable? I tried to reset to default and I
still have the same RSS feeds including ones I added. The interface in
the server does not seem to have an option to delete RSS feeds that no
longer work properly

The RSS feeds for Yahoo Business News and Russia Today seem to be blank
.When I back out of RSS the screen is scrambled and unreadable. Same

wifi router is transmitting through a double brick wall, two layers of

I set my wireless players(2 radios) to play Flac Converted to 320kbps
MP3 in the player settings. I notice that my wired Touch player which I
set Lame to unlimited is also streaming from the local library FLAC
Converted to 320kbps MP3. I want my Touch to play at full bitrate

years. However if you are reinstalling I would suggest you stop LMS
service (in Linux I would issue a command in terminal, not sure about
windows). Then Uninstall LMS in Control Panel /Programs and then make

Check the Artist tags for the tracks are consistent. Perhaps you have
different tags for the tracks that show as different artists in LMS

satisfactory explanation from them why the disconnects are occuring;
given that it seems to happen with my Touch (wired) and not my Radio
(wireless) or any other device I think it is a problem specific to the

Have noticed for the last few weeks that my Touch has a screen saying it
is trying to connect to the server periodically. The music is not
interrupted when this happens, I just get the message and a circle
spinning then it returns to proper screen. I would think if there was a
break in the connect
If not tagged correctly then browse by Music Folder instead of by Artist
or Album and drill down to the desired album. I assume your music is
stored individual folders for each album? Also try a clear library and
rescan rather than just scanning for new music

I am not really sure why this no longer works with the default settings
on the Touch. However I do have Screen Switcher installed and just
installed a clock on the Stopped player settings and it seems to work.

The screensaver on my Touch goes to a blank screen after about 10
seconds of displaying the screensaver(tried analog clock and Spelled
Time) after the player stops playing. I would like the screensavers to
work as they did in the past. Have changed LMS server a couple of times
but I wouldn't think

If I want to select one track I find I have to use the plus key and
scroll throll the menu till I find play, then that track and only that
track will play. It used to be that if I chose an album and scrolled
through the tracks all I had to do is press play and that song and no

of the usual choices (CBC,BBC, Live365 etc) except for Youtube app which

Thanks aubuti . seems a bit counterintuitive as do a number of the
features of the Touch, but it works. Overall I am very satisfied with my
Touch player but there were a features that I thought were step
backward from the Classic. Although I suppose the Classic behaves the

I play a playlist not through to the end the player will always pick up
where the playlist last ended even after a reboot of my computer. I
