a NAS running with raid disks,
backup processes and a very low electric power needs and a PC. I have
no use of a SBT if I need to keep my notebook open a the same time !
I think I'll give a try with other players like Cambridge NP30, or naim
unitiqute (not the same price !)

A summary of my tests :
FLAC and WAV 16/44 and 24/96 always works
ALAC 16/44 always works
AIFF 16/44 always works
ALAC 24/96 don't works from NAS and don't work from USB
AIFF 24/96 don't works from NAS and don't work fro
I tested with a USB key to check if the NAS is a problem.
The aif file on a USB key does not work.
So it may not be a NAS problem.
