Again, many thanks for thoughts. As you can probably tell from our
equipment, we are not going to be competing with or comparing our stuff
to $20k systems, or individual components. Besides, at our age (late
60s...) we often wonder what we really do hear. :-)

I forgot to mention that we use mysqueezebox.com and the wireless router
(Verizon/Frontier) that we also use of our iMac. Itunes has 6 192 kbps
radio stations and 1 320 kbps radio station (BBC Radio3) available at
the moment. A year ago or so the max kbps was 128...

Speakers are Klipsch Heresys with Bob Crites' crossover, tweeters, mids
and woofers and home-made beefed up cabinets.
We use the SB3 mostly when reading. For "concert mode" listening we use
the OPPO CD/DVD or Thorens turntable. Occasionally we get lazy and let
the S
duplicate post, but I was having beacoups problems
getting my old account verified.
