Does LMS do this automatically? I've looked at the settings in
'advanced/file types' but I don't see any relevant settings options for
transcoding.

How do I clear the cache? I know how to do it in Squeeze
have any issues. Also, not sure if somehow the

Having now succeeded in changing the date/time stamp in the files so
they now display on the SBT 'New Music' list, they are all duplicated!
Any idea why this might be happening and how I can de-duplicate?
Any suggestions gratefully received!

Spot on! I assumed that 'New Music' meant newly added to Logitech Media
Server library irrespective of original date stamp.

I thought so but I copied some M4a files from iTunes (I previously paid
to remove all DRM) into the music directory on my NAS but they don't
appeaer on my ST in 'New Music' even after mannual rescan of library.
