Hi Julf,
I looked the topic 'Linear power supply' and I replied. Any issue with
that for you ?
No need for me to discuss on audiophile topic...
For information, I have compared a hdplex to a ifi ipower, same result
for both.

Great improvment regarding my last linear supply. I bought 2 others psu
to power a w4s recovery and a usb-spdif interface dxio pro3z. The best
improvment obtained is on the SBT, less obvious with the pro3z or the
recovery.

Any system or developer expert to create a software version which allow
to bypass LMS and MySqueezebox.com and to use a SBT with a Upnp server ?

In my case, LMS is installed on a Qnap NAS which doesn't allow using LMS
as a Upnp server, even if the plugin is enabled.
By the way, I don't want to use LMS as a Upnp server but I want to use
the SBT with another Upnp server.
for me, the Upnp pluging for LMS allow LMS to be considered as a Upnp
Hello,
I would use my SBT with Minimserver Upnp Server by driving the SBT with
BubleUpnp on Android. In another words, I would bypass LMS with a SBT

Is-it possible ? :confused:

Hi,
EDO 0.8 installed on LMS 7.7.2 and all works fine except playing 24/192
WAV files on native mode. The result a very very low playing music ...
wwao it's funny :-)
So, I have no take time to understand what happens but I saw :
- with flac parameter activated for wav files,
Finally, how works LMS is not clear at all.
After EDO pluggin installation, I have started listening a 24/192 WAV
files. LMS choose to transcode either using native parameter for LMS,
which has created an important CPU load on NAS. i have finally keep only
native settings to be sure what happens .

My NAS is running LMS.
For the example given for WAV, it is the default parameters activited on
my LMS (on my NAS) and I don't understand the utility of these
parameters. It is one of the reason why I have created this post.
For me, FLAC settled as native with other diffusion desactivated and the
I think I have understood my misunderstanding ... :-)
No decoding on NAS, just a transcoding to one format to another format
in LMS side.
Touch player decodes the file format to convert a binary file to a flow
which can be sent to the spdif interface. This spdif flow cannot be
produced on NAS ser
I would say "why not transcode all because audio formats to PCM"
because if I'm not wrong:
"If you have a FLAC file, and the player wants AIFF, use the flac
program to transcode it => this case never exists because Touch player
don't transcode AIFF
If you have a FLAC file, and the player wants F
Sorry for this newbees questions but how Touch player may want other
than PCM flow if all ones are transcoded by LMS on the NAS ...?

Sorry guys, I'm a little confused because there are 2 opposite replies :
"Touch cannot transcode, transcoding only happens within the LMS server
program"
And
"FLAC files are decoded in the player"
What is the differences with these settings :
FLACAIFF -> flac
FLAC -> Natif
MP3 -> flac/lame

Hi,
It probably may be discussed in this forum but I would just have a
recall about file type decoding.
I precise I use my Touch with Coax and with a LMS installed into a NAS.
For FLAC files, I have this setting :
FLAC AIFF -> flac
FLAC -> Natif
MP3 -> flac/lame
PCM -> flac
Where flac f
Anybody knows or verified if the USB mod produces bit perfect flows ?
