[SlimDevices: Touch] Recommended decoder settings for best sound quality

Could someone please advise the recommended advancedformat decoder settings for best sound quality, particularly for streaming FLAC, both 16/44 and 24/96. An explanation of the decoder settings (eg. native, faad/flac etc, why flac is relevant to AAC) would also be helpful. -- rossb
