ink this is caused by a name conflict with my other Touch) to
"SqueezeboxTouch2".
I think the hostname file survives software updates but not factory
resets, so it may need to be reedited from time to time.

You were close, I had to change the name in the /etc/hostname file and
reboot. I'm now on the net with "SqueezeboxTouch2". Thanks for pointing
me in the right direction.

netbios name = SqueezeboxTouch2
Is this correct or do I need to change _HOSTNAME_ somewhere else? If I
do enter the string, does it need single or double quotes or nothing?
Thanks!

Is there any way to use the logging to pinpoint the problem?

Becuase of all the crashes my SBS on the Touch is having, I'm starting
to suspect a hardware issue. Are there any hardware or memory
diagnostics that I can run to rule in/out hardware issues? Thanks,

if I use
squeezebox.com I don't see the station art on the radio, it displays an
antenna instead.
Have we totally given up on TinySB? Seems a shame since it could be
very useful.

It looks like it isn't consistant. I tried a few other streams and they
display a bitrate. The ones that do not display a bitrate, do display
it properly on the SB Radio. It's not a big deal, I was just wondering
if anyone else had seen the issue.

I tried the same stream on my SB Radio and it displays the bitrate on a
line under format. I know the SB Touch used to display the bitrate when
I first had it. Sometime in the last week it has gone away. I've
rebooted, but I haven't done a factory reset.
--
For some reason my SBT is no longer displaying the bitrate when I select
More Info. All I see is File Format: AAC, no bitrate. I seem to remember
it was always displayed before. Ideas?

Using explorer from Windows I can copy files to the USB. How do I copy
files to the system? I'd like to change a file in
/usr/share/jive/applets/Shortcuts/. Thanks,

So since we are on the topic of audio quality, is it my imagination that
the Coax output sounds noticeably better than the Optical output of the
Receiver? I suppose it could also be my Onkyo receiver.

e Receiver? Does the Touch
have better sound quality when using the digital outputs? Is it
realistic to think that with the Touch I wouldn't need to have my local
SBS running (instead using a local USB with my WMA/MP3s)?
Steve
I thought it was just me. I have the same problem with a Duet and a SB
Radio. Must be some kind of issue with the server that interfaces
between the SB and Sirius.
