Sorry if this is disappointing, but there is no way that the Touch is
arriving Nov 3. The announced release is December, and from
I tried this.. no success with Jive 7.4.1 - then I downloaded the Jive
7.5.0 version and copied it to the SD card. This time the update was
sucessful.
This is an amzing version - Guys thx for the advices !!

did you go directly from 7.3 to 7.4.2

There is nofw in the 7.4.2 directory , and squeezboxserver is looking
just there for it :-)
so use the 7.4.1 firmware for the controller iether by using the SD
card or installing 7.4
Have you waited a while or restarted squeezeboxserver ?
It fetches the fw from internet otherwise read the wiki on how to load
fw with an SD card (slot above the battery)

Yesterday I installed 7.4.1 on my Vista Computer.
Squeezebox classic updated easy - Controller of Duett not!
Controller tried endless loading of new version.
