Ok one thing that message about 705k is bs it is wrong it is not true (
old bug ) but it scares audiophiles .

Yes, I assume I did. Because if I don't my 24/96 aiff files are
transcoder for the touch as well (to flac 705 kbit/s).

And remember if you synchronise several players, it is the least capable
player that sets the rules on what to stream, as all players then share
the same stream.

These player can only do 24/48 so LMS should transcode ? Have you
disabled FLAC for aiff completely ?
