I guess I'll give a shout-out to MP3tag here. Although it has MP3 in
the title of the software, it will tag just about anything, and that
includes Flac.
Of course, I suppose you need to locate your missing files first. But
once you do, I have used this to find many tagging errors, and they are
I think what was not made clear enough is: Album tag ONLY must be
identical, order names may vary.

Are you asking if your files will be rearranged in your file system just
by changing the ALBUM tag?

I'm not familiar with dbpa, or what software you're using to make
tagging changes after you've ripped an album.
But the very first requirement for a multi-disc album to appear as one
album is that the ALBUM name for each track must be identical. So
something where you have '... CD 1' and '... CD

I have ripped 400+ out of my 800+ CD collection. All are ripped via
dbPoweramp and stored on my QNAP NAS. SB Server Software is installed
in the NAS.
I've noticed today that 2 of my Various Artist CDs are not appearing on
the db. I've clear and rescan at least twice and still no show.
