Everybody see those adds where Duracell is showing the Firefighters and
saying they are going to be donating batteries to help us out and
stuff? Anybody think they would ever see anything out of that whole
ordeal? Yeah we didnt either until the Major got a surprise from the
delivery man.

Any alkaline battery can leak, not just Duracell. (Don't think you're
safe just because you use a different brand.)

I suppose your Touch is still under warranty, so perhaps you should
contact your vendor to have the remote replaced.

Last week I returned from short holiday and found that DURACELL batteries
provided with SB Touch leaked and destroyed my IR remote controller. It started
to send uncontrolled signals to SBT. I've cleaned the contacts and changed the
batteries with new one but nothing happened.
