Thanks, that did it. Though I like the Touch, the UI needs some work.

I really have no need for album artwork to be displayed (when it works)
and would rather have the whole screen available to display song title,
artist, etc. I couldn't find an option either on the Touch or the Server
to disable artwork. Can this be done?

The now playing button on the remote toggles between aviable modes or
tapping the screen does the same one mode is text only.
If you fallow abutis advice and deselect the ones with image and have
text as default it's even better.
