usually these lines are a sign for a connection problem between the
Display and the Backplane...

I had the same thing happen to mine but near the bottom edge. Mine did
not appear until after the units no longer were made. Not sure if there
is a fix short of replacing the display.

True, it doesn't affect normal use, it's just annoying. I purchased two
Touch units in 2012, one arrived deffective and it was prohibitively
expensive to return it. In fact it would've been better to purchase
another Touch, which I was going to do but they discontinued it. Since

I had this exact issue about 6 years ago with a brand new touch. They
replaced it under warranty. Of course, the unit is out of production for
several years, so this is no longer possible. Good news is that problem
did not interfere
with audio.
