Yes I still can control the touch from the mac, not fro the apps on my
iPhone/ipad. I don't know why is seems to work for a while after i reset
the touch?

This is probably not the problem, but it has caught me a couple of
times: If your iphone or ipad is on 3/4G or LTE and
thanks, I reset my touch(again) and both apps seem to be working for the
time being. Next time this happens I'll send you the report .

Are you using the touch as a server?
Or do you used fixed IP addresses?
Otherwise, if you can still control it from the Mac the Touch is not
part of the problem.

I get a message your player not found. Sometimes when i reset the touch
the apps will work for a while then stop. I can control my music from my
iMac LMS and also with the touch remote.
