Thanks that seems to be the easiest option. I fi go that route, do i need to change any settings on the server so it recognizes the music on the external HDD rather than my MAC? gellie's Profile:

[SlimDevices: Touch] Need some advice on removing music from my Mac

I'm thinking of getting a new iMac with a SSD. Given the cost I'm most likely going with 500gb, which means i'll have to take off most/all my music. What is the best option to use? Just hook up a external HD to the Touch? If so what are the best ones out there? Is there a better route to look
