"New music" is determined by file modification date. Since you've been
copying things around, you've probably changed them all. If you are
missing expected albums in New, try finding them by Artist. If not
there, run a "Clear library" rescan. If still not there, they are not in
your library or th
No access to a Touch at present but if you press and hold something on
home screen does it give you an option to remove it like it does in
Squeezeplay? If so then perhaps thatÂ’s what the OP means??

This starts to be confusing, as far as I know it's impossible to remove
anything from a Touch or web gui.
Lets skip the Touch now and only use the web gui,what does Settings ->

What do you class as "New Files" ?
If you go to LMS > Settings > My Music, and increase the number and
click "Apply"

i was trying to screenshot
the issue is, my new files are nowhere to be found. this happened when i
did somethin wrong on the touch and

so, last year my touch stopped working for software reasons (i thought).
since then, i moved to a new place. i thought i'd try the touch again.
Voila! it works! i must've had a real bad connection before. the only
