Sounds like it could be a bug. Are you using the internal server, a
Squeezebox Server on your network, mysqueezebox.com, or a combination
of them?

Hello,
is there a way to save the now playing setting?
When I unselect the VUmeter and the spectrum analyser view, both are
selected back when I switch OFF/ON the box.
