Disclosure: I am a HUGE fan of Quad speakers! I'm listening to my 22L2s as I type this. You could go high-end and get some Quad 12L active speakers. Discontinued but often still available on e-bay or audiogon. 15877 15878 The pair on e-bay are only $638 for the pair :rolleyes:

What I mean this is a very general question :) To narrow it down can you spec . Budget ? Room size ? How loud ? Music taste or other listening habits that may influence speaker choice ? Any size or placement restrictions due to some home decor limitations ?
