I use the Touch with a pair of AudioEngine A5 speakers (self powered, self amplified) for a mobile audio solution. The Touch usually ends up on top of the main A5 source speaker (the speaker with the power supply and amps) and has no ill effect on the resulting audio. -- toby10

Thank you for the quick reply. I wasn't actually thinking of a loudspeaker interfering with the Touch screen, but the other way around: does the (electric field of the) player intefere with the sound from the loudspeaker? -- Hans Gerrits
