Thanks for the link and for the explanation. I did a little more
reading and it goes along the lines of what you are saying in regards to
the USB directly connected to the touch not being as feature rich as
using LMS.
Are you thinking about running a hard drive directly into your Touch?
If so, don't do it. It's a recipe for disappointment. Run Logitech
Media Server on a proper PC with as big a hard drive as you need. The
Touch (wired or wireless) becomes a streamer for LMS which is the way it
works best.
I have read and saw that a USB drive should be powered unless it is a
flash drive. An SD card has a 32gb limitation. Is there any other
limitation for a Powered USB Drive in regards to size or just the 10,000
track limitation?
