on topic: it is usually best to use the digital input on any ht reciever, true analog pasthrue is an anachronism that most mfg's only offer in their more expensive models ( if at all present, pure bla bla does not meanthat much ) any processing at all would invoke the dsp and thus an extra da-ad

I have a sb touch hooked up to a harmon kardon avr 330 recvr. if I use the digital outs would that use my receivers dac and analog outs use the touchs dac? Which should I be using...very confused. Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk -- Sinkdrain

I think most here would advise you to try both and see which one you like. All outputs on the Touch are active simultaneously I suspect your h/k receiver has input switching, so connect both digitial and analog outputs from the Touch and you can just go back forth between the two and see
