Ordered a brand new one from a retailer. Have to say was knocked out by the sound, a big improvement over the Sb2 I was using. Have ordered a 5V linear supply for it. At the moment am running directly into a Cyrus Power Amplifier, next change will be either external DAC and passive preamp or Cy

I'd expect eBay/Paypal would refund your money if the seller doesn't do it voluntarily. If the seller provided a specific power supply with your purchase, you had every reason to presume it was the correct one. He owes you a refund. -- mlsstl

Something sounds fishy here, Touch's power cord connection is not that tight. Properly snug but not difficult to plug in at all. Seller shipped with original Touch PSU? Seller did not try some hardware mod that may have caused the power input to be incorrect (too tight)? -- toby10 --
