This appears to have been fixed by switching to oxide, which is built on
the chromium content API, which seems to allocate the first few percents
of the progress to waiting for a response from the server, as desired.

I graphed the memory use from the time I launched the music player until

Googled up few related threads with solve mentioned adding swap. Even
with 4G ram & 10G swap it didn't help me though for rather full 5.5T

Wow. So, when I tried again 13 minutes later, the clock was already 5
minutes behind. Apparently the speed isn't consistent.
It figured out the correct time again about 30 seconds later, but it
seems the onboard clock might be way off without help from the network
(cell or wifi).

open the actual clock app, I can see two different times -- one in the
indicator, one in the app. So apparently the welcome time widget and
indicator widget just get out of sync with the system clock.

10 minutes next to a computer with a known-good clock. When I turned it

If something is playing in Grooveshark, it plays mostly fine as long as
the grooveshark window is focused. But about 3 seconds after I switch
to another app or the scopes or turn the screen off, the audio stops and

Utopic 161 still does this, though the symptoms are different and it
usually only shows the black screen for about a second.
Once in a while though, it'll show for more like 20 seconds, complete
with the blank entry in the app switcher, and often a crash afterward.

Google logo for 15 minutes now. It looks and feels like it's hung. As a
user I'd be rebooting it thinking it had crashed by now. I shell in and

FWIW, I tested this on Utopic 160, and have memory usage graphs for the
result.
Memory use went up while scrolling around scopes, and it went up each
time I went to a scope I hadn't used yet or hit the "see more" button.
After that though, it stayed relatively consistent.
Memory use also went up
I'm happy to upload a new krb5 to debian so you can sync it if you want
that approach.
I'm also happy if Ubuntu wants to go with a binary rebuild of krb5.
