Well, the first commit just limits the key generation size. I'm fine with
that, but breaking GnuPG for _currently_ used keys it's a totally different
matter. I have been using this key for a while (let's say, a year and a half?)
without any problems.
This, for me, is clearly a regression.
The
GStreamer is obviously very heavily used by media-hub, so I'd recommend
trying to downgrade gstreamer first.

I agree it's critical to think about. At the lowest level of the above
stack, a shell + system-image-cli + networking should be able to update
the device, but it's probably not super easy for the average user. I
can imagine a small script that would use adb to shell in and run the
update.
