I was looking at the details before letting apport submit the bug and I
noticed that the stack trace I was just like the one submitted here
having no debug information available. So I ran 'sudo apt-get install
bluez-dbg libbluetooth3-dbg', rebooted and the problem went away... it's
a hiesenbug. :
How do I work out which version of the deb is installed in the image?
Ubuntu SDK > Devices > emulator says "Ubuntu version: 20140917", "Image

That's odd - the error had been annoying me every boot for months has
now gone, even after "apt-get --purge bluez-dbg; reboot" and then the
same for bluez-dbg. To be clear, the last time the error appeared was
at boot time before installing both bluez-dbg and libbluetooth3-dbg as

On the first attempt, I was not able to connect to BT headset, which always
connected and worked reliably with previous releases. I was able to connect
after I rebooted the phone and power cycled BT headset. I tried about 5 more

I think it's imortant to note that https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=756247#58 warns on the workaround on the grounds
that it involves the installation of sytemd. systemd is an alternative
to the current default upstart manager (see

vivid .iso boots to black screen.

Further to this, the root cause appears to be the Cisco anyconnect client

Manually getting rid of the files referred to in that post solve the "hung
state" problem for me, and the upgrade now appears to be proceeding correctly.

The hint to the solution was the content of networking.log:
run-parts: failed to exec /etc/network/if-up.d/static-routes: Exec format error
run-parts: /etc/network/if-up.d/static-routes exited with return code 1
Failed to bring up lo.

A workaround is to comment the following lines:

utopic. However, that was after image #243 was built. I am not sure if
there will be any further images built for the utopic channels. I'd
recommend switching to the vivid-proposed channel or the ubuntu-
rtm/14.09 channel instead.
