I use Ubuntu 12.04. Still have the problem. I have disabled Flash and depend
on HTML5.
Can't watch video on mainstream news site. Youtube does work, however.

wildly unrelated programs. I suggest rebooting into memtest86+ and let
that run overnight or longer. It feels like a hardware issue to me.

This is caused by Brother's drivers not following the CUPS standards. If
Brother had made a native CUPS driver and not an LPD driver with a CUPS

It appears that when cups was updated it did not carry the old
parameters across to the new con-fig files.
Removing the printer then removing and purging the cups file then
reinstalling using the Brother install script (.sh) file has worked.

Unity. Do the daily builds have the option of running XFCE? Also, it

Same problem in a fresh install from yesterday (12/25/2016), and I fully
updated the system by cable. This should be a high priority bug, and I
doubt it would take more than 5 minutes of an experienced programmer to
fix it, probably just a broken validation routine. It surprises me this
