It appears that using Xorg instead of Wayland is the only way to fix
this problem on Ubuntu 17.10. For some odd reason, whenever I wake my
computer from suspend (especially after an extended period of time
asleep) using Gnome in a Wayland session (gnome-session and stock
@Olivier, I installed a Win10 yesterday with no activation key, and ran
the upgrader tool in a old HDMI TV, and the upgrader said it cannot
upgrade (according the PDF is because my TV is not HDMI 2).
Anyway, I ran a workaround: edited pulseaudio config to power off the

You mention that all the examples can already be done by netplan, yet
one, he mentioned was modifying iptables, something I use myself, and
have yet to find that anywhere in netplan.

Okay thankyou everyone for your feedback.
The kernel patch causing the issue has been reverted. So 4.14-rc7 should
work as pre 4.14-rc2
This bug has become a dumping ground for multiple issues so I am going
to create new bugs to track the issues individually and close this bug
