I have a similar problem. For me the Ubuntu 20.04 installer would
consistently crash at 90% (regardless of which hard drive I installed it
to). When I followed the instructions to report the bug, it led me here.
I was able to circumvent the problem by choosing "minimal installation"
and NOT "downl

This is now an issue in Ubuntu 18.04 as well. I'm guessing whatever

Just thought that I would chime in here and say that this is definitely
a WiFi interference issue. On my Dell XPS 9550 (bcm20703a1 bluetooth
chipset) I would get really bad choppy, de-synced audio sometimes. I
finally figured out that whenever it was happening, I was connected to a
2.4 GHz WiFi n
I reproduced this with:
o. 10GB network card - Connected to network but with no DHCP on the network.
This is a card I normally hard wire to direct connect to my NAS
o. 1GB network card - Connected to a network with DHCP
First attempt failed with this error.
On the second attempt, I disconnected
