thanks for the reply and sorry for the confusion, I was reading the
focal manifest when I saw sddm. That's the same issue than bug #1890394
that was backported now to older series and a regression from bug
The libghtdm-gtk-greeter is having the same issue which is breaking
xubuntu, see bug #1902871. Could we revert that SRU to proposed instead
of updates to avoid bricking more user systems until we have a better
handle on the problem and at least have those greeter fixes out?

How to get a crash report? I simply start the service and it dies after
some seconds. Nothing in the dhcpd log is indicating a crash. The
process is simply gone.
