I think it makes more sense to use bug 1946499 to track the issue
happening in Ubuntu 21.10. The patches in this bug landed two years ago,
so it would be confusing to reopen it.

[CREATIVE MUVO 1c, playback] volume slider does not

changing the volume of system volume does not affect the sound volume at
all. i have to change volume of each program separetly. i.e to change
volume of spotify i have to adjust the 'spotify' slider in settings,
etc.
i'm on fresh install of ubuntu 21.10
All autopkgtests for the newly accepted util-linux (2.36.1-8ubuntu2) for impish
have finished running.
The following regressions have been reported in tests triggered by the package:

After upgrade from ubuntu 21.04 to ubuntu 21.10 I am seeing black screen
in wayland session and screen corruption in Xorg session
issue can be reproduced when notebook is returning from sleep - black screen
with white flashes.
was able to press Ctrl-Alt-F2 + Ctrl+Alt-Del - it restarted successfully,
however no errors seen in kernel logs - besides below:
ERROR: apport (pid 16076) Sat Oct 16 17:46:05 2021: host pid 3575
resolved by removing iommu=soft option which was preserved from workaround of
bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1921995
now kernel boots fine and wayland session and amdgpu works fine

Please remove maliit-framework & maliit-inputcontext-gtk from Ubuntu.
They have no reverse dependencies.

experimental once but was removed.
I think the packages were added as part of the Unity 8 project

The releases
I have now built in a separate PCIe board with USB ports that do not
rely on AMD chipsets. The RODECaster Pro now works perfectly. So this
seems to be in fact something out of the audio driver's responsibility
(?) and needs to be fixed somewhere else?
It' sad that I lost one port, but at least
