The fix in the UITK is being compromised by the hack in the Wifi plugin
in the System Settings to work-around OSK anchoring problems. I attached

All of the aforementioned bugs have been fixed without requiring a
particular launcher. Is this bug still valid? Are there use cases that
can only be solved by extending the launcher?
