Well, I see the 20.04.1 live image still has a problem installing
(NVIDIA?) drivers during the initial install that was in the original
20.04 release. I shall try again without the drivers install option. I
was trying a minimal clean install this time if that makes any
difference for the analysis.

Tried to use gdebi to install dependencies for
daemonsync_2.2.0.0059_amd64.deb sync server (https://www.daemon-
tools.cc/products/daemonsync) on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (4.15.0-65-generic).
Gdebi execution failed while building the dependency tree.

This report pre-dates #1752053 and was submitted because the initial
NVIDIA driver installation failed. Bug #1752053 reports and already
installed NVIDIA driver being broken by a more recent update. Not
convinced these are duplicates.

I am running Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS and the offset parameter to preserve the
UUID simply does not work for me. A later version of Ubuntu on the same
PC shows there is a PARTUUID for the encrypted swap partition, but this
is not visible in 14.04. The UUID for the cryptswap partition is always
lost after
Associate with the correct package.

I should clarify it was a clean install of Ubuntu Gnome 16.04. Perhaps
the problem is in the Gnome branch, but not the main, Unity branch?

pulseaudio is started twice - effectively m
I tried applying the patch in comment 22 to my 14.04 installation
(3.13.0-39-generic, upgraded from 12.04) and rebooting, but it didn't
solve the problem with my Logitec webcam microphone. I still get the
same error.
ubuntu-drivers-common 1:0.2.91.7 is the currently installed version.
